
Amaris Kinne
Amaris Kinne is Director of Research at Neighborhood Villages. In her role, Kinne leads the advancement of Neighborhood Villages’ state and national child care policy portfolio. Before joining Neighborhood Villages, Kinne spent the prior decade working in various capacities on anti-poverty research, innovation, policy, and programs. Kinne started her career as an ESL teacher in New York City and has remained connected to education throughout her career. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development from Boston College, a Master’s in Education from Lehman College (CUNY), and a Master’s in Public Policy from Georgetown University. She is active in her community in Cambridge, including by serving as an ESL teacher for adults through the Cambridge Public Library system, as well as serving in her first term as a member of the Cambridge Human Services Commission.
