Afterschool Teachers at the Maria L. Baldwin Community Center lead developmentally appropriate and engaging activities and lessons in visual arts, sports, cooking, math, science, and more for our K-5th Grade Afterschool Programs. 

We are looking for teachers, Counselor-in-Training Coordinators, and certified lifeguards to join our Children’s Programs staff this summer.

If you feel a connection to the mission of MLBCC and are looking for meaningful volunteer work, consider joining our Board of Directors! We are especially in need of a Parent Representative. Interested candidates should email a statement of interest and a resume to our Co-Executive Directors Maria LaPage and Phoebe Sinclair 

Our organization has experience partnering with local institutions to offer internship placements for individuals ranging from high school through graduate school students. Field experience in our afterschool programs is offered in exchange for course credit for both undergraduate and graduate students. Like our staff, interns must submit to a background check through the Department of Early Education and Care. Interested students should contact interns@agassiz.org  to discuss the opportunity.
